EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION AVAILABLE
"Help & Hope - When the Diagnosis is Dementia" is available to provide information and support for family members as well as for people who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and related disorders.
The booklet contains a range of educational information, family support information, guidance and emotional support for caregivers as well as a list of resources; it was developed by Mary Jean Flossie, LNHA, BA, LPN, Vice President of Altercare of Ohio, Inc. in charge of Alzheimer's programming.
The booklet is available from any of the eight facilities that provide specialized care for persons diagnosed with Alzheimer's or a related form of dementia: Alliance, Country Lawn, Bucyrus, Big Rapids, Lanfair, Majora Lane, Mentor and Wadsworth.
